Chrissie and Scott | Engagement Session

We photographed Chrissie and Scott's engagement session inside the Grand River Center because it was snowing outside! Nice and warm inside though and I thought the Grand River Center offered some great locations for engagement pictures!

Bridal Show in Tiffin, Iowa

Scott and I had a great time at the Preferred Bridal Show at Bella Sala! The show was organized by Wedding Planner and Decorator, Cynthia Betts. Check out her blog for some awesome tips and ideas while planning your wedding: http://weddingsiniowa.blogspot.com/.

At the show, brides were able to visit with vendors and sample some delicious food from 12:00-2:30 (our booth was right next to Chef Mickey's Catering who had some really excellent food to sample). At 2:30 the Bridal Fashion Show started and we all got to take in some really beautiful gowns by XOXO Hugs and Kisses Bridal Boutique. The whole show had a really intimate feel and it was so nice to be able to chat with all the brides who stopped by our booth.

During the show we held a drawing at our booth for a FREE Portrait Session and 8x10 Print. I'd like to thank all of the brides that stopped by our booth to chat and fill out our survey for the free session. We have picked a winner and it is....Katie Hoppe who is getting married in Amana, IA! Congratulations Katie!!

Bobbe and Jim | April 2, 2011

Scott and I travelled to Cedar Falls to photograph the beautiful wedding of Bobbe and Jim. Scott knew Bobbe in high school and we were so honored to capture this beautiful celebration! I started off by capturing Bobbe slipping into her bridal gown by Morilee and putting on her jewelry. Bobbe's hair and makeup were done by her sister and mother (Razor's Edge Salon). I think they did an awesome job!

Bobbe was an absolutly stunning bride!

The ceremony took place at Nazareth Church in Cedar Falls Iowa. I gotta say, this church had some gorgeous light! The flowers and decor was done by Flowerama in Cedar Falls (owned by Jim's family).

After the ceremony, we headed over to the Beaver Hills Country Club (also in Cedar Falls) for the reception and some more Bridal Party pictures.

Zoe | 9 Months

Photographing little Zoe is such a joy! She's so cute you really can't take a bad photo of her :) Here are some of my favorites from her 9 month session:

These books come in either a leather or photo wraparound cover and feature fine art paper pages that lay completely flat. The crease in the middle of the pages is almost invisible!
